Appeal allowed: 206 new dwellings in Strategic Gap and designated countryside in Fareham

Persimmon Homes has secured permission on appeal for 206 new dwellings on land east of Crofton Cemetery and West of Peak Lane in Stubbington.  Appeal reference APP/A1720/W/21/3275237. Key issues: Out of date Development Plan and absence of the Five Year Housing Land Supply. Inspector decision: There would be no impact on European sites, subject to mitigation. The NPPF-based design objections were rejected. Christopher Boyle QC acted for Persimmon Homes.
