Marketing Assistant Vacancy 

Title: Marketing Assistant

Contract: Full-time

Reporting to: Marketing and PR Manager

Salary: up to £24,000, depending on experience.            

Hours: 09:00 to 17:30, with overtime for the running of Chambers’ events

Landmark Chambers comprises 89 barristers, including 32 QCs, and is a leading chambers in the UK, specialising in planning and environmental, property and public law.

­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­About the Role

The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Marketing and PR Manager with the day to day running of the Marketing Department. Their role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Planning, organising and running Landmark’s seminars and promotional events.
  • Updating Chambers’ website and members’ individual profiles, including the monitoring and development of Landmark’s social media presence.
  • Supporting the Marketing and PR Manager with submissions to the Legal Directories.
  • Assisting with the updating of the Department’s marketing materials and maintaining appropriate levels of marketing merchandise.
  • Attending Steering Group meetings in order to understand and action the marketing requirements of each Practice Team.
  • Ad hoc work as required by the Marketing and PR Manager and Chief Executive.

The Candidate

Chambers are seeking to recruit a Marketing Assistant educated to degree level. Experience of marketing or business development in a legal or professional services environment is valuable, but not necessary.

Candidates should have an eye for detail and be able to design, create and deliver marketing and promotional materials to the highest standards.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with colleagues, members of Chambers and professional clients.

As elements of the role will be client-facing, the successful applicant will be able to maintain and build strong professional relationships with new and existing clients and key contacts.
