Nicholas Taggart has been long acknowledged as a “leading junior" in real estate litigation and also as having a substantial advisory practice. The 2011 edition of the Legal 500 describes him as being, "at the top of his game and a great all-round performer". Chambers and Partners 2010 describes him as "speedy, robust and clever", as well as having “a tremendous sense of humour which means that he is always fun to work with." Nicholas was awarded Real Estate Junior of the Year in 2011.
Principally a specialist in commercial property litigation, Nicholas has been involved in a number of high-profile matters involving properties such as London’s former County Hall, the “London Eye”, the Savoy Hotel, Liverpool Docks, Euston Tower, The Westfield Shopping Centre in White City, the Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield, Broadcasting House, the M3 extension at Twyford Down, Ashford International Station, the 2012 Olympic Village, the “Emirates” Stadium and the Buncefield oil terminal.
