Louisa joined Landmark Chambers in February 2010 after completing her third six, having previously done pupillage at Falcon Chambers. Her pupil supervisors at Landmark were Tom Weekes and Galina Ward. Louisa’s practice is principally in real property law and landlord and tenant, with a developing practice in public law.
Louisa accepts instructions in a wide range of real property disputes and landlord and tenant matters, both residential and commercial. She appears regularly in the County Courts and the Companies Court.
In her spare time Louisa sings and plays violin, guitar and piano. She is currently the Musical Director of Middle Temple Revels and a member of the Middle Temple Hall Committee.
Louisa graduated with a BA (Hons) in Law from St John’s College, Cambridge in 2006, and was awarded an MA in 2010. In 2007 she completed the BVC at BPP and received a Harmsworth Exhibition from Middle Temple and a McMahon Studentship from St John’s College, Cambridge. She holds an LL.M. from the London School of Economics (2008) in which she obtained a Merit overall, with a Distinction in Commercial Arbitration.
Louisa is a member of the Property Bar Association and the Chancery Bar Association. Louisa is a specialist editor of Hill and Redman’s Law of Landlord and Tenant.
