Christopher Boyle was called to the Bar in 1994. He specialises in Planning, Environmental, Transport and Infrastructure, Compulsory Purchase and Rating Law.
Christopher joined Landmark Chambers in March 2007 from 2-3 Gray's Inn Square. He is Secretary of the Planning and Environment Bar Association and a former committee member of the Compulsory Purchase Association. In 2006 he was elected to the Council of the National Trust.

Christopher read Jurisprudence at Merton College, Oxford. He is joint editor of Butterworths "Local Government Law" and a contributor to the 'Journal of Planning & Environmental Law'.
In 2006 Christopher was elected Secretary of the Planning & Environment Bar Association (PEBA) as well as to the Council of the National Trust. In January 2009 he was appointed to the National Trust Land Use and Access Panel.
In October 2009 Christopher was appointed a Trustee of HRH The Prince of Wales 'The Prince's Foundation for the Built Environment' and is a member of HRH's Developers' network.
Christopher also sits on the Capital Investments Board at the University of Cumbria.
In November 2010 Christopher was invitated by the Academy of Urbanism to become an Academician.
