Andrew was called to the bar in 2010 by Lincoln’s Inn. He joined Landmark Chambers in September 2011 after successfully completing his 12 month pupillage in chambers. His pupil supervisors were Reuben Taylor, Dan Kolinsky, Camilla Lamont and Tim Buley. Andrew accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ work.
During his pupillage, Andrew gained experience in many areas of planning and environmental law including environmental crime and enforcement cases. As a pupil to Reuben Taylor he assisted with work involving issues with noise, road traffic and other technical environmental issues. He also gained experience of environmental issues including Environmental Impact Assessment, the Habitats Directive and waste.
Andrew regularly appears in possession actions and small claims cases in the County Courts. He is able to advise on all aspects of property law and landlord and tenant disputes including easements, restrictive covenants, disrepair and service charges.
Andrew accepts instructions in all areas of public law and has a particular interest in rating and education law.
Academic:
Andrew graduated from Oxford University in 2007 with a degree in History (first class). Between 2007 and 2009 he studied for a Graduate Diploma in Law (Distinction). He completed the Bar Vocational Course at City University in 2009-2010.

Other experience:
Between 2007 and 2009, Andrew taught History at an inner-London comprehensive school. In 2007 he was promoted to Head of History and in an inspection in 2009 both his teaching and leadership of the department were judged as 'Outstanding' and he was described as an 'inspiring leader'.
