Graeme represented the owners of land which had been compulsorily acquired for a Park and Ride Scheme at an appeal under s.18 of the Land Compensation Act 1961, in respect of an application for a Certificate of Appropriate Alternative Development, at an Inquiry held in July 2009. The appeal related to the whether conditions imposed on a Certificate granted by the Acquiring Authority which restrict residential or storage and distribution development on site until a new bridge over a railway line is provided, are onerous and unjustified.
