A claim for judicial review of Wolverhampton City Council's decision to approve the principle of compulsorily acquiring some of Sainsbury's land in order to support a town centre mixed use development proposal put forward by Tesco. The case focused on section 226 Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
Guy Williams acted as junior to Neil King QC for the Council.
The Council's decision was upheld.
The case will be heard by the Court of Appeal in July 2009
