Thomas Jefferies acted for the Claimant
landlord in a dispute over whether Qinetiq as agent for the Defendant tenant
was entitled to serve a break notice determining a lease of a defence research
base. The tenant succeeded, but was
denied an order for costs on the ground that it had refused to mediate.
