This case concerns the question of principle whether a head-lessee of a multi-let building is entitled to seek renewals of individual leases under the 1993 enfranchisement legislation, a question which will now be determined by the House of Lords in May 2008. In the Court of Appeal, the case also concerned the constitutional law question of whether a High Court decision is binding on a County Court.
