DATE: 01 Jan 2007
This is an important case about delay in decision making processes and because it concluded that the Secretary of State's Case Resolution Programme which was attempting to deal with a serious backlog of unresolved cases was lawful. In addition to that case I have been involved in advising on a myriad of issues, both practical and legal, that arise out of the judgment, including to the test for taking cases out of turn, work permits and permission to travel.
