Balfour Beatty Engineering Services-formerly known as Haden Young Claimed sums due from Shepherd Construction under the terms of a subcontract. Balfour Beatty commenced adjudication. Stephen conducted this first adjudication and rejected the claim. Balfour Beatty subsequently commenced a second adjudication on a different basis. The second adjudicator, Mr Anthony Bingham, found for Balfour Beatty. The proceedings concerned whether summary enforcement of his decision would be granted.
