About Landmark Chambers
Landmark Chambers is the UK’s leading chambers offering integrated advocacy and advice in four key areas of law:
Rated as the top Planning and Environmental chambers in the UK, we are also regarded as one of the top sets in Property Law and Public Law.
Landmark is comprised of 72 barristers, of whom 21 are Queen’s Counsel. A number of our members sit as Deputy High Court Judges and Recorders. Amongst our junior tenants, 17 are members of the Attorney General’s panel of Treasury Counsel: four are on the A panel, four are on the B panel and nine are on the C panel. Many senior members are former junior Treasury Counsel.
Working throughout the UK and abroad we have significant experience of litigation in the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal, the High Court, the European Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights.
We act for both the private and public sectors – government departments, statutory bodies, local authorities, NGO’s, companies, landowners interest groups and individuals.
We are modern, forward-thinking and innovative. We are committed to recruiting individuals from any background and we seek actively to promote equality of opportunity and a healthy work/life balance.
Our diversity policy requires that we treat all those who work at Landmark, whether they be barristers, pupils or staff, with respect and courtesy. Our sustainability policy requires that we consider our collective and individual responsibilities to minimise our carbon footprint. Our internal systems and procedures are underpinned by these important key philosophies.
